Garry Abbott // Today is Palm Sunday—the day Jesus rode triumphantly into Jerusalem before he took on the cross. On this Palm Sunday, let’s look at the triumph of the gospel for all of us. We are reminded that God writes us into his story no matter where we are from, what we have done, or what has been done to us. But there are times, moments, when we won’t know what comes next, and we have to decide if we are going to trust our knowledge of God’s love. When faced with the choice of if we believe his goodness, provision, and direction are going to overcome our fear and uncertainty, will we allow what we know about God to move us through the unknown? Will we allow what we know about God to help us love others fully? Let us remember that Jesus came to earth for everyone and meets us right where we are—any message that states otherwise is not the gospel.
