Zach Van Dyke // We get to be in the story of the history of the Church. Just as the early church played a significant role in the Book of Acts, so do we still today. This history is a traveling story—a story on the move. It’s not just history, but what continues to happen. The early church’s mission of Jesus, who he is, and what he brings us is the same mission of the Church today. And we aren’t just people biding time, satisfied with a nice church service and comfortable message, but actively placing our hope in the coming kingdom of God. We are to be witnesses of Jesus—to everyone. As we remember, rediscover, and rethink how to be the church, the question to ask is, “How can I be a witness of Jesus to anyone and everyone?”
