Doug Foley // The early church faced many difficulties as they strived to be witnesses of Jesus. They crossed lines in the cultures at the time and made many people angry. In the Book of Acts, we see Stephen face the unthinkable as he shared the story of Jesus with others. The Holy Spirit gave him the power to tell others about Jesus. The same Holy Spirit is with us in the present, encouraging us to be bold. The grace we receive from God can transform us and change our lives. Jesus paid everything on our account and freed us from sin. We just have to put our faith in him. We can choose to be bold.
