When Jesus left earth after his resurrection, he gave his disciples the call to be his witnesses. And he gave them the Holy Spirit to help guide them to do just that. They weren’t on their own—God met them right where they were, just as he can meet us where we are now. We are led by the same presence of God. He gives us his Spirit to teach us and convict us and move us to a place of holding the hand of God in obedience. He gives us his Spirit to help us and unify us. Because God’s message is unrelentingly, unstoppably, and unboundedly good news for all of us.
