Doug Foley // The gospel—the good news of God’s grace—is a beautiful and expansive concept. It’s for everyone. It’s too big for any one person to have the task of sharing alone, so it has to be entrusted to others. We see this in Acts when Paul teaches and mentors Timothy to help him spread the gospel. The people we share God’s love with can become integral parts of God’s plan of reaching the world. We can actively be a part of ushering in God’s kingdom on earth. But we also need to do so in a helpful way. We also need to remember the promises and principles of God. He promises strength and inspiration and gives us practical tools for living lives that reflect his love.
