We move into the first two chapters of Acts: The prologue to the whole work (1.1-5), Jesus' return to God (1.6-11), the reconstitution of the "Twelve" (1.12-26) , and the great story of Pentecost (2.1-36) and its aftermath, with Peter's preaching (2.14-36) and its effect on the newly empowered on the Jerusalem Jesus movement (2.37-47).
