As we move further into the Acts of the Apostles and into Chapter 3, we begin to see the presence of the Ascended Jesus and the Spirit at work in the Jerusalem Jesus household. It emulates the healing actions of Jesus seen in Luke's Gospel, its preachers, especially Peter and John are emboldened despite opposition from the religious authorities, the generosity of its members (except two) is noted, imprisonment leads to release, preaching and finally giving thanks to God in temple and home (5.42).
