Acts 1:4-11
Pastor Justin Dancer
We all face moments when we feel spiritually and emotionally depleted, wondering where we'll find strength to continue. In Acts 1:4-11, Jesus commanded His disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit's power before beginning their mission. This wasn't optional—it was essential. The Holy Spirit provides dunamis power, the same explosive force from which we get the word dynamite. This supernatural power has one primary purpose: to make us witnesses for Jesus Christ. As believers, we don't just have the Spirit with us, but within us, empowering us for victory over sin, healing relationships, and accomplishing God's purposes when we surrender our own strength.
