In the Old Testament it was God among Israel — to whom very few had access. In the 33 years covered by the Gospels we had God with us in the form of Jesus, God in the flesh, as he walked and talked and preached and healed and ultimately died and rose. From Pentecost until today we have God in us, in the form of the Holy Spirit, and that has huge implications for all of us!
