Hello friends, is a pleasure to be back again this beautiful Thursday. I am always anticipating to see Thursdays coming because it gives me joy to share beautiful memories with the house.

For this week I will love to share memories of our annual retreat held last week starting from Wednesday evening been 7th of January to Saturday afternoon been the 10th of January 2026. The program actually started on Tuesday with the leaders from each zone coming together to fix everything and making sure that when others arrive on Wednesday, there will be no much work on grand to do. This is an annual retreat which means that it is held once a year. People come from all over Nasarawa State in Nigeria. It is also called a diocesan program because is Lafia diocese that holds it every year.

For this year we invited a priest who came all the way from Kafanchan diocese to preach and his message was very great. Like I said before this is my first time of listening to him and I have been really blessed by his teaching. I don't know when last I received this great message like this.

Another great thing that I love about this program is always the musical instruments. These young boys playing the musical instruments are very good at it. They all danced in such a way that you will be motivated to dance. This is it for this week. I await your response at the comment section. And I will also love to read your stories too.

Hello guys welcome back to my blog in hive openmic week 301. This is actually the second week in the year 2026 with a very special theme.

Looking at the theme that says - Somebody to Love. We know that it is very important in our lives to have somebody to love and also somebody that Loves you as well. Without love I don't think that anyone will survive this terrible world, but God have shown what it means to love by first given us his only son to die for us to live. Because he suffered and died, then my own life is save because of what God did for us.

The sone is by Bay Opaleye and the very reason why I chose this song is because God decided to love me unconditionally. Some people love with conditions and some love because of what they will benefit or give in return. But the love of God made us know that we are special to him and that is why God went ahead to pay the price for our freedom. Today we are all free.

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog for this Tuesday. Compliment of the season once again to all my friends. I pray that we have a very good year ahead.

We are still in our festive season and it still feels as if Christmas is still here. Despite the fact that it has come and gone, we still have some of its impact in our lives and that is what I want to share with us today.

Before Christmas we decide to do something very special as a family and this is what we have never done before. I have experienced it in our churches and other communities where I belong, but not on family levels. But for this past Christmas we decided to give it a trial.

We all received special gifts from every member of the family. We all wrote our names of a tiny paper, scattered the names on the table and it was picked randomly by everyone. Christmas day was fixed for receiving gifts and we all came together in the afternoon. We prayed before starting, we sang songs of praise unto God. When it was time to give gifts, we had to pray for everyone before given of gifts. The gifts part made it very special and at the end we were all happy with our gifts.

Happy new year to us all and compliment of the season guys. This is the first week of the year and my first song in this community.

For week 300 we are asked to bring our original song to the house and I decided to do one to show my gratitude to God. The title says - I SEE ONLY HIS GOODNESS. My country is currently going through fire and alot has been happening this past few weeks. Many people have lost their lives and some have been displaced because their homes have been taken over by evil people in the country. My song is talking about God's goodness in this particular moment. The devil want us to cry but I refuse to cry at this moment. All I see in all of these is God's goodness. He has never failed and he will not fail us at this moment.

Happy new year to all my friends in the Throw Back Community. We have successfully moved to the year 2026. I wish everyone the very best in this new year.

We had alot going in already because of the festivities and it gives more joy when I remember that it is the celebration of my savior and a new year. On the day of Christmas there is usually a great celebration in most of the cities where I live, but we have never done anyone close to me that I know of. Just at the end of the year our Mai Angwan also known as leader in the street. They came up with an idea that we should celebrate together this year and every house paid a certain amount of money to that effect. The celebration took place on the Christmas day and there was a lot of good things that happened there.

It was actually a traditional music that was brought for us and most of the people knows how to dance it except me😂😂. I didn't join them dancing because I can't dance that step. I just sat there and watched and the take some pictures and videos to show us.

One of the amazing thing about it is that most of their men dress like women and come out to dance. But I didn't see any woman dressing like a man to dance. 💃.

We are gradually moving to the end of the year and this happens to be the last week for us here in this great community.

The topic says - Epiphany. This is the period when the maggi came visiting and made the baby Jesus known to the people and they did gave some amazing gift to the baby. It is a good thing to learn how to appreciate God for every good thing that he has done. Because I see that the wise men were full of wisdom and that was why they all came with different gifts to the baby.

Merry Christmas to all my friends in this beautiful and amazing community - Throw back Thursday.

It is with great joy that I bring us yuletide season greetings. What a special arrangement by God. This year Christmas is on Thursday and it happened to be our community day. Guys for me that makes this year celebration a very special one. Christmas is always a special gift to humanity. I love it when it is Christmas like this. Christmas comes with lots of blessings and that is why I love it.

For this week I bring to us the special memories of our end of the year Thanksgiving service. Every end of the year we come together to appreciate God with praise and Thanksgiving for all the good things he has done and is still doing. This year has been one of my best year. Alot of good things has happened and we can't take it for granted.

We had a great time together as brethren while we were praising God. Three amazing music artists were invited to minister to us through songs. And it was indeed a blessed memory.

Merry Christmas dear friends. This happens to be Christmas week with a very beautiful Christmas title in the hive openmic community.

When ever is Christmas season, it always shows everywhere. I don't really know why, but that is how is has always been. Dear friends I will love to share a beautiful testimony of what God has done for me this year.

My number one testimony is the life that I enjoy today without paying for it. Every member of my family is alive because of what Christmas has brought to us. We are all strong and healthy curtsey is Christmas.

Because of the title for the week I am doing the cover of this beautiful song - WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS. This is a very special song to me as long as Christmas is concerned. We have been singing this particular song since my childhood. It reminds us so much of what happened when our savior was born. It is indeed a great sacrifice for us and it has brought us back to God who made us for himself.

Hello beautiful family of great farmers. Welcome back to my blog today. I wish everyone a happy Christmas celebration because I know that we are already in the week.

For today guys I want to do a post about something that I saw while I traveled to Kano. Is a tree that is not rampant where I stay and I just saw it here and decided to ask them what it is used for .

I noticed that most of the families there planted it right inside their house and they try to protect it by not allowing children to play with it anyhow. I was told that it is called chedia or chediya in Hausa language. In English language it is called strangler fig. I was also told that it is used to cure toothache. You need to cut out a little part of it just like you saw in the video. Wash it very well, put it in a pot and add water. Boil it for about ten minutes. Bring it down and alow it for some minutes. When you pour it in mouth hold it for five minutes before throwing it away. Do it again and repeat the process in the evening. Before you will do that for a week, your toothache will go.

This is also good news for me because people around me always suffer from this problem most times and that is why I decided to come home with some of it.
