October 30 The Cycle Review - Shudder Making Good Horror?
The Cycle Movie Review - Shutter has a new horror original film called "The Cycle". It's a very impressive practical effects showcase but how is the actual story? I give you my thoughts!
The Cycle was written and directed by Jordan Downey and stars Deborah Ann Woll and Jeffrey Donovan.

October 30 Hungry Review - Not My Hungry Hungry Hippo
Hungry Movie Review - There is a killer hippo movie trending on Amazon Prime right now. I guess sharks, snakes and gators are a bit played out. That doesn't mean a killer hippo movie has anything unique to offer the genre. I wish it did.

October 26 Wicker Review - 50 Shades Of Hay
Wicker Movie Review - A woman falls in love with a scarecrow in a new spicy film called "Wicker". At least, that's what the pitch was. In reality, Wicker is so much better than you might think going in. I was shocked by how charming, creative and funny this film was. Definitely one of my biggest surprises for 2026!
Wicker was directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson and stars Alexander Skarsgård, Olivia Colman, Peter Dinklage and Elizabeth Debicki.

October 23 Clayface Review - Good Horror or Horrible?
Clayface Movie Review - The DCU brings the villain Clayface to the big screen. A bit of a puzzling move when the last two movies in the James Gunn universe were overly colorful Superman/Supergirl films. Clayface is anything but that. It's dark, somber and features a character who will go through some major changes.
Clayface was written by Mike Flanagan, directed by James Watkins and stars Tom Rhys Harries, Naomi Ackie, Ruby Sear and Max Minghella.

October 22 Sacrifice Review - This Is Getting Old
Sacrifice (2026) Movie Review - Netflix has another crappy film trending this week. It's called "Sacrifice" and it stars Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy. Much like Digger, this is a dark comedy that focuses in climate change and the hypocrisy of those in power.

October 22 Wildwood Review - Beautiful But Basic
Wildwood Review - A brand new stop-motion film called "Wildwood" hits theaters very soon. It's based on an epic book, full of magic and epic battles. Travis Knight captures the amazing world with wonderful animations but the formula feels very familiar and the long runtime doesn't do much to build out the world.

October 21 Street Fighter Movie Explained - A Hot Mess!
Street Fighter (2026) Explained - Street Fighter is an absolute mess in the story department. There are so many little plots going on and so many characters to juggle, the film just can't be bothered to closing many of them out. I do my best to recap the film from beginning to end.
