After a long day on the NAHBS showroom floor, Adam from Stanridge Cycles and Derrick from FSA joined me to talk about the amazing bikes Adam had brought to the show and about the partnership between FSA and Stanridge Cycles.  Some of the features that made the Stanridge bikes unique were a killer Olympic issue Metron left side drive crank(!), a one-off Phil Wood centerlock quick release hub married to an FSA tri-spoke wheel and the custom brake cable routing inside the bars to keep the finished bike looking clean and cable free. Adam had to have spent a ton of time on the brake splitter system so that the left and right brake levers both actuated the brake, but the amount of time he spent blacking out the parts so the bike had a dark, mean look was impressive too. This guy is pretty talented and has the start-to-finish capability of frame construction, frame painting & vinyl decalling and build up all in-house. Check him out at stanridgespeed.com and check out the talented, young Red Hook Crit racing team he's sponsoring at teamstanridge.com
