Chicago Cubs-loving Adam Mamawala started doing stand-up in New Jersey and played at colleges before trying to make a home in the New York City comedy scene. He separated from his wife in September 2019 and found a productive way to deal with everything he was going through -- by taking it to the stage. Mamawala is headlining Stand Up New York on Nov. 30 and Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago on Dec. 3 and 4, where he'll be recording his second album. The pandemic has done his mind a lot of good and now he's tackling stand-up and acting with a new perspective.
