Adam Peters Intro Press Conference REACTION | Washington Commanders New General Manager!
The Washington Commanders introduced Adam Peters as the new General Manger of the franchise today! Josh Harris and our new ownership group got their man to begin the rebuild. It marks a new beginning for a franchise marred by poor decisions on and off the field from prior ownership.
KDot and Amit provide what happened at the press conference, what the takeaways are, and why there are reasons for hope and optimism moving forward.
Adam Peters suggested that the focus will now be on the Head Coaching search. Current candidates named are Houston Texans OC Bobby Slowik, Detroit Lions OC Ben Johnson, and Baltimore Ravens DC Mike Macdonald, to name a few. The goal is to get a coach that is a leader with a high football IQ, and that is aligned with the vision of both Peters as well as Harris and the rest of the ownership group.
On the subject of roster building, that will be done by the GM and Head Coach together. The team will build through the draft and supplement through free agency. That is the Adam Peters philosophy.
