Before Jesus crucifixion He has to go through a farce of a trial and was taken from the religious leaders to Pilate to Herod to Pilate. Back and forth, trying to find a legal loophole to kill him or a reason to let Him go. Jesus was exhausted and was afforded no comfort or respite as He was relentlessly questioned and physically beaten and abused. Given a crown of thorns and finally cowardly condemned by Pilate, Jesus suffered more than anyone before or after in these final hours of His life.
