Following the resurrection of Jesus, He would spend another 40 days on Earth with His disciples, giving them counsel and instructions that would form the foundation of the Christian church’s commission for the next 2000 years. Jesus would ascend to heaven from the Mt Olives, a place on which several significant events in His life took place. Today we serve a risen Saviour who will come back soon - this is the hope that we have as Christians!
