Adam is one of Steve's longest friends (since 2nd grade!). He is a philosophy professor at Grand Valley State University. Adam is currently working on a PhD in Bioethics/Medical Ethics as well as a Masters of Social Work. Along with being a full-time student, Adam works at a shelter for domestic violence and sexual assault. We talk about his studies and experiences with behavioral addictions, unresolved trauma, and a victim vs. gratitude mindset.
