Game Setup

Last Time on When Black Roses Bloom: The first night in NeDragaard keep was a rough one, Talandril is tormented by nightly visions. The heroes can faintly hear Lord Soth’s Banshees and Skeletal warriors in the distance of the keep, unnerving everyone. When morning light comes, they leave their kitchen sanctuary to fine another mortal from Krynn who followed them into the keep. Eldralin, is a Half-elf fighter/cleric of Mishakal. Once he and Viruna connect, they quickly adopt him into the party. They continue to sweep this first level only to discover that it seems empty save for rats in the walls, ceilings and harpsichords. They enter a massive throne room only to be attacked by a mimic that really just wanted meat. They quick;ly climbed to higher levels in the keep, feeling the pressure of discovering Lord Soth before its too late, and come across a garden where even the plants lash out at you. They rush to the next level and run into a banshee, which seems to be their lot, but this time and the subsequent encounters, go a lot smoother. They begin collecting the treasure they find and are met by a kender named Ticklemop who has a medalion she believes Lord Soth needs to heal the land. In truth she is a vampire as all kender are in Sithicus, and when caught feeding off Viruna, the party understandably turns against her. Ultimately they feel they need her to lead them to Azrael so they can find Soth, and that is where we pick up, right after another Banshee is destroyed.
