Pulled me in from start to finish. Hands down the best book for a emotional ride till the end with the happy ever after

Delivered all the feels!

Addicted to Rhapsody is the first book Iâve read by Selena Laurence, and it took my completely by surprise! Wonderfully drawn characters, emotionally-driven plot, and a sweet and touching romance that will make you cry and laugh. While it's number four in the Rhapsody series, it can be read as a standalone.

Savvy lost her husband not too long ago, and her life is at odds and ends. The only thing thatâs a constant in her life besides her son is rock star and sex-addict, Garrett Jakes. And he has no plans to go anywhere.

Garrett recently fell off his own wagon, and he should be the last person Savvy should turn to. The guilt eats them both alive. So, why isnât he?

First, I havenât read a book where a main character is battling a sex addiction. Garrettâs got a lot to work through, especially with him being this rock god character with women throwing themselves at him. There are steps and rules, and itâs made all the worse by his craving for the beautiful Savvy. That, and with another rock tour looming, heâs scared of falling back into old patterns.

Savvy just broke my heart! She has a son, is newly widowed, and has a bar to run, alone. But thereâs some parts of her life that chafe even worse and tie up her guilt. I can relate completely to Savvy, and I spent so much of this book reading through teary eyes. Thereâs no way to keep yourself removed from these characters!

I got caught up heart and soul in Savvy and Garrettâs romance. Iâd recommend anyone who wants a swoon-worthy romance with real issues and lots of love and laughter to pick this one up. While this is my first book by Ms. Laurence, it definitely wonât be my last.

Garrett Jakes is the lead singer of the band Rhapsody and has a sex addiction. He is working hard at keeping on the straight and narrow but finding it hard with his feelings for Savvy Scott. Unfortunately Savvy is off limits to him but he can't help how he feels.

Savvy is trying to rebuild her life for herself and her son after the murder of her husband, Kevin.
