In JHS, I had a friend who smoked weed. I'd follow him when he smoked, but never tried it until he sparked my interest, saying it would open my mind and aid my studies. I tried it, became addicted, and now squander all my money on it for the high. Jobless and struggling, I've resorted to robbery with friends. I was arrested, detained for stealing a cornmill machine, and my family paid 4,000 cedis to bail me out. At 23, life is brutally tough. I'm desperately in need of help; please help me quit smoking. My mother worries, and I don't want her to suffer because of me.- Young man pleads.
