Medically, addiction is a treatable, chronic disease involving complex interactions among brain circuits, genetics, the environment, and an individual’s life experiences.  Biblically, addiction is ‘voluntary slavery.’  In other words, we make decisions to indulge in certain behaviors, and those decisions can make us a slave to our sinful nature.  Our panel discusses how addiction is a destructive, dark pathway …
