William discusses the psychology behind addictions. We can be predisposed to addiction, but our addictions are really about numbing pain. We can claw our way out of addictions by choosing different strategies to deal with our pain. In the second half of the program William discusses Mother's Day and how mothers can learn to love themselves first and then teach that to their children and grandchildren.
