This week we are joined by Addie Bracy who is one of the craziest runners we've had on OCR. She was a walk on at North Carolina and became the team captain by her senior year. She's qualified for several national teams and has been to the Olympic trials. If that's not enough, she's won 3 national championships, came in second at Leadville and recently put up a top 5 time at the Rim to Rim to Rim on the Grand Canyon. Addie also lends her energies to the Runners Alliance and her awesome movement OUTRun. If you're are interested in the mental side of performance, you'll want to visit Strive Mental Performance, which she founded.
Also learn why the OCR Beer Run has the most beautiful medal ever created. We discuss the top runner in the Old Crazy Runner Strava Run Club and which one of us is at the bottom. We talk about running in the dark, running in the snow and how to get more data with the Stryd. You can even check out the blog post. We discuss how we are working on our vertical oscillation, cadence and heart rates.
