Adeel was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor for his role on Channel 4's Utopia, before becoming the first non-white actor to win a BAFTA award in a leading role for the single drama Murdered By My Father. He also received a British Academy Film Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role for Ali & Ava. But in 2010 he appeared in the Chris Morris film Four Lions and David was delighted to catch up with him to talk about it at the beginning of this year.
