En el año 2012 por primera vez participamos en los Emmys regionales, fue Sitora Tankanaev, quien había sido una estudiante del programa de televisión en producción y entonces productora independiente con nosotros la que estuvo a cargo de esta bella historia inspirada por la magistral narrativa del escritor México americano y ganador del premio Pulitzer Luis Alberto Urrea.
