This is an earlier episode (from my Sobriety Stories series when the podcast was Corporate to Calm)  but the conversation feels even more relevant now.

Because for ADHD brains, alcohol can become

• A dopamine shortcut

• A social mask
• A nervous system “off switch”
• A reward after overstimulation

Until it isn’t.

Until it creates more dysregulation than relief.

In this episode, I’m joined by Lynda Emmett, who chose to question her relationship with alcohol and has now been alcohol-free for over four years.

Sobriety isn’t about restriction.

It’s about regulation.

It’s about building habits that protect your peace instead of sabotaging it.
