John Livermore is a junior at Virginia Tech. He enjoys playing rugby, working on his truck, and taking part in in Cru campus ministry. John was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Depression this past year. In this episode, we sit down with John and he shares with us a little of his journey, perspective, and experience with these diagnoses and how he has coped with them. He discusses the role his doctor has played as well as the prominent role of his faith in his disability journey.
John had this to say about his experience on the Disability Perspectives Podcast: I had a fantastic experience working with Utah and indirectly with the rest of the disability perspectives podcast team! I loved being able to share a little bit of my story with the world. Hopefully some listeners will be able to relate To my story, and realize they aren’t alone in their struggles. I’ve felt those struggles for years, but never did anything about it. I hope the listeners will feel encouraged to seek help when they need it.
Please enjoy this episode!
