Chantell began the journey to functional medicine as a result of her oldest son’s diagnosis of ADHD in preschool.  He was prescribed meds to manage behavior, anger, and hyperactivity. He also tried behavioral therapy, which had some success, but didn’t address the root cause. Chantell researched the link between ADHD and gluten and found surprising results.  When the family went on a GF diet, she noticed significant improvements in his attitude and behavior.  To change the family to GF, she started with easy swaps, then progressed to eliminating red dye, processed foods, dairy, and common allergens.

Even more shocking are the statistics about the number of children currently on prescription medications for ADHD.
