In this Healthed lecture, Dr Chris Soo explains that ADHD can cause significant morbidity, reduced quality of life and even premature mortality if not detected early and effectively treated. Dr Soo, who himself has ADHD, will also detail the most common presenting signs and symptoms that would make the clinician suspect the diagnosis and he outlines what can be done in the primary care setting to expedite the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of these children.
