Over time, those messages become internal narratives.

And those narratives shape behaviour.

Why Self-Limiting Beliefs Exist (ADHD Lens)

Self-limiting beliefs form from

• Repeated negative feedback

• Social conditioning
• Rejection sensitivity
• Cognitive bias
• Nervous system dysregulation

For ADHD brains, emotional intensity + memory of failure can make those beliefs feel like facts.

But they are learned patterns.

And what is learned can be rewired.

 

Confidence is not built through affirmations alone.

It is built through evidence.
