In this episode, I sit down with my beautiful friend Steph, who bravely shares her personal journey living with ADHD as a 27-year-old woman. We talked about everything from the unique challenges she's faced to the strategies she's used to thrive in her personal and professional life. Unfortunately, many young girls and women with ADHD don't get diagnosed until later in life. Many symptoms of ADHD in women present themselves as other conditions such as anxiety and depression.

For every 3 boys diagnosed with ADHD, only 1 girl gets diagnosed. This is largely due to symptoms in young girls that often manifest differently.

By opening up conversations like this, we hope that more resources will become available and provide the care that women and young girls need.
