In this episode of The Taradiddle. Kyle and Scotty go over a unique story of the two brothers who started as business partners but during or after World War II the relationship splintered for reasons we may never know.
The town in Germany that both of these companies (Adidas and Puma) call home people would look at your shoes before they would speak to you. This may be some of the early to mid 1900's rubber necking.
The story of Adolf and Rudolph Dassler are both very similar but also strongly different. One becoming a Nazi officer while the other stayed back and committed to the brand we now know as Adidas.
Jessie Owens may be the biggest publicity for the brand/brothers. He may be the first Jordan when we won multiple golds at the Olympics and everyone had to have a pair of the athletic shoes.
