There are a lot of ways to get to Santanoni, the great camp near Newcomb in Essex County that boasts some of the most remarkable architecture in the Adirondacks.

You can't go by car, but you can ski and snowshoe in winter. In summer or fall you can hike or take a horse-drawn wagon that takes visitors each day into the historic area. But one of the most fun, easiest ways is by bicycle.
