The Aditya Prakash Ensemble has a new CD out Diaspora Kid.  The tracks are distinct from each other in style, but all connected by the central theme of South Indian Traditional Carnatic music, the singing of Aditya Prakash.  The ensemble has been playing together for a decade.  This is their third album.

Aditya and Baruch discuss the history of the music, the alchemy of blending traditions, and the implications in today’s political world.
