Great book

I enjoyed the candor of the authorand very well read also.

There was a very nice mix of medical, human and natural beauty.

Another wonderful book

I really enjoyed Do No Harm and was pleased to find that Mr Marsh had written - and narrated! - another book. His autobiographical storytelling style reminds me a bit of James Herriot. This follow up did not disappoint. We hear about more of his interesting cases and patient stories and his own thoughts and feelings relating to those cases, and learn about Nepal, and what happened in Ukraine. Perhaps because its exactly what Id like to do myself, I found myself wishing for a picture or two of the little cottage by the canal that the author is renovating (impractical for an audiobook :-) )

My Favorite of 2017!

Thoughtful and honest about his failures and successes as a surgeon and unfailingly compassionate toward his patients. Narration by the author is a plus. Enjoyed all the idiosyncrasies of British pronunciation!

Loved the book, but hated the narration.

The book was great, but the narration was done by an old man, and was very hard to understand due to hoarseness .. As a non native english speaker I never had difficult in an audiobook, but this book I almost stopped and returned due to this ..I understand the point of having an old man narrating a book of lifetime stories, but it should be easier - I could not listen to this in any noisy environment because it was impossible to understand .. Sad that such a good book was narrated so poorly ..
