Magnus is an educator from Virginia Beach, Va. who is originally from Freeport, Bahamas and graduated from Indian River High School in Chesapeake, Va., where he still lives. Additionally, he is a graduate of Norfolk State University, where he studied music education and voice. Recently, Magnus auditioned for The Voice and secured a place on Chance The Rappers team. This is not the first time Martin has been around many main stages. Magnus is also a part of the Voices of Fire choir on a Netflix series of the same name that aired in 2020. The series followed Pharrell Williams, and his uncle Bishop Ezekial Williams, who pursued his dream of creating a world-class gospel choir. Magnus has appeared with Pharrell Williams on the Jimmy Kimmel show and more. He is here as our INSPIRATIONAL PERSON OF THE DAY!
