During an Adopt-a-Pet Tuesday segment on KSJE, Farmington Regional Animal Shelter representative Amber Francisco highlighted three dogs available for adoption:
Bran, a playful pit-heeler mix who has spent more than 324 days at the shelter; Toby, a cheerful mixed breed who loves other dogs; and Goose, an affectionate shepherd mix eager for a forever home. Francisco encouraged potential adopters to meet dogs outside their kennels so their personalities can shine, and noted that the shelter recently celebrated more than 95 adoptions during its Empty the Shelters event.
She also reminded listeners that the shelter will remain open throughout Memorial Day weekend during Riverfest for visitors interested in walking or adopting a pet.
