Barra joined Clairsy & Lisa in the studio to chat all things sport. It was a tearful goodbye for Carlton, as Sam Docherty announced his retirement. With the Derby on this weekend, Barra said it was a chance for the Eagles to make a statement or completely ruin Fremantle’s chances. Barra also staked out the airport yesterday in hope of catching AFL agent Nick Gieschen, who was in town amid rumours of a groundbreaking $20 million contract for Harley Reid. While there was no news on the contract, Barra was far more shocked by the price of a small cappuccino at the arrivals gate. Plus, Barra got his creative juices flowing as he imagined what Caleb Serong’s diary entry might’ve looked like after the nail-biting Collingwood match last weekend.
