THE PROMISES OF THE DAVIDIC COVENANT (2 Sam. 7:12-17)
1.The establishment of an everlasting throne (v.13,16)
2.The King of Israel is regarded in a special way as the son of God (v.14)
3.David's Descendants will build God's house (V.13)
THE FULFILLMENT OF THE DAVIDIC COVENANT
1.The covenant is fulfilled in the life of Solomon.
2.The covenant is fulfilled in the succession of the kings of Judah.
3.The covenant is ultimately fulfilled in the coming of the person and work of Jesus Christ
