اینٹِٹی پیراڈائِم ایک پاکستانی میٹل بَینڈ ہے جو دو ایسے الگ بَینڈز کا اشتراک ہے جو اصلاً اینٹِٹی اور پیراڈائِم کہلاتے تھے۔

دونوں بَینڈز لاہور کے خفیہ راک کے منظر نامے میں مستعدی سے شریک تھے۔

اس وقت اینٹِٹی کے رہنما گلوکار احمد علی بٹ پیراڈائِم کے رہنما گلوکار فواد افضل خان کے ساتھ ٹی وی کے طربیہ جٹ اینڈ بانڈ میں کام کر رہے تھے۔

پروگرام کے ہدایتکار نے رائے دی کہ دونوں مل کر شو کے لیے ایک تھیم سانگ تخلیق کریں، جو انہوں نے کیا۔ چوں کہ اینٹِٹی اور پیراڈائِم خفیہ بَینڈز تھے، اس لیے ان کے کوئی بھی مجموعے یا انفرادی اجراء ریکارڈ پر نہیں تھے سوائے اس تھیم سانگ کے جو انہوں نے مل کر ٹی وی شو کے لیے تخلیق کیا۔

جب پیپسی نے 2002 میں ابھرتے ہوئے بَینڈز کو بیٹل آف بَینڈز (بَینڈز کی جنگ) کی لیے اپنی نامزدگی جمع کرانے کو کہا تو انہوں نے ایک مشترکہ گروپ کے طور پر ٹیم بن کر مقابلے میں آنے کا سوچا، اور اس طرح اینٹِٹی پیراڈائِم کو وجود ملا۔

نوخیز بَینڈ بیٹل آف بَینڈز مقابلہ جیت نہ سکا لیکن یہ فائنل تک پیش قدمی کر گیا اور آروح سے جیتتا جیتتا رہ گیا۔

اینٹِٹی پیراڈائِم کو پاکستان کی راک موسیقی کے منظر نامے میں نئی راہ نکالنے والے سمجھا جاتا ہے کیوں کہ ان کا پہلا اور واحد البم جسے ارتقاء کا نام دیا گیا کسی پاکستانی فنکار کی طرف سے پہلا عام دھارے کا نظریاتی البم تھا۔

البم 2003 میں جاری ہوا اور ناقدین سے داد و تحسین وصول کی۔

بَینڈ کے موسیقائی انداز کو ترقی پذیر راک اور ترقی پذیر میٹل دونوں زمروں میں تقسیم کیا جاتا ہے۔

2007 میں اینٹِٹی پیراڈائِم ٹوٹ گیا تاکہ بَینڈ کے ممبران اپنے اپنے منصوبوں پر کام جاری رکھ سکیں۔

کچھ فنی مظاہروں کے لیے بَینڈ 2009 میں دوبارہ اکٹھا ہوا۔

اگرچہ تب سے گروپ نے کچھ اکیلے اکیلے گیت بھی جاری کیے ہیں لیکن یہ دوسرا مکمل طوالت کا البم ابھی تک جاری نہیں کر سکا۔

Entity Paradigm is a Pakistani metal band that's a composite of what were originally two separate bands called Entity and Paradigm.

Both bands were sedulous participants in the underground rock scene in Lahore.

At that time, Entity lead singer Ahmed Ali Butt was working with Paradigm lead singer Fawad Afzal Khan on the TV sitcom Jutt and Bond.

The program director proposed that the two unite to create a theme song for the show, which they did.

Because both Entity and Paradigm were underground bands, they didn't have any compilations or independent releases on the record except for the theme song they created together for the TV show.

So in 2002 when Pepsi started calling for aspiring bands to submit entries for its Battle of the Bands, they decided to team up as a collaborative entrant in the contest, and Entity Paradigm came into being.

The nascent band did not win the Battle of Bands competition, but it did advance to the finals and narrowly lost to Aaroh.

Entity Paradigm is considered to be a trailblazer in Pakistan's rock music scene, as its first and only album, entitled Irtiqa, was the first mainstream concept album from an artist in Pakistan.

The album was released in 2003 and got acclaim and appreciation from the critics..

The band's music style is categorized as both progressive rock and progressive metal.

In 2007, Entity Paradigm broke up so that the band members could pursue their own projects.

The band reunited in 2009 for some performances.

Although the group has since released some singles, it has not yet released a second full-length album.
