Of these cases, an estimated 3-10% can be considered to be hereditary tumors. Dr. McDonough and Dr. Audeh discuss the genetic basis for hereditary cancer, including how to identify key characteristics, as well as describe the criteria for which genetic testing is considered appropriate.
