Lean In: Matthew 5:7 with Mariah Smith
We who deserve nothing have received everything through the radical mercy and forgiveness given by Jesus Christ. Our culture today rejects forgiveness as something needed for human flourishing, yet Jesus says those who are merciful to others will be "blessed". Drawing from Matthew 18:21-35, we will dive into the parable of the unforgiving servant to bring light to the transformative power that forgiveness can have when our identity is rooted in the forgiveness of Christ.

Mariah is a part of The Way Church with her husband, Daniel. Her and Daniel lead Alpha together, where they get to facilitate healthy conversations about life and faith. They live downtown Vancouver and are passionate to see people in their city come to know the transformative love of Jesus.
