What we tend to get caught up in during the Christmas season is actually just a shadow. The lights, the presents, the family reunions -- these are all good things, but they're just a shadow of what our hearts really long for. In this series, we talk about the substance behind the shadow.

Advent means "the arrival of someone long awaited", but how long exactly? How long did humanity wait for THE advent? And what were the specifics of Who they were waiting for? Do the prophecies in the Old Testament dating 4,000 years before Jesus really point to Him as the Messiah? How can we be sure? In this first message in the series, Pastor Jake takes us through God's promises of the Messiah's arrival starting in the Garden of Eden and going all the way through to Jesus' coming.
