It's Week 3! This week our theme of Advent is the beautiful hymn, 'Oh Holy Night' ✨

“A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices" I can’t help to think of how true these words feel to us all in 2020. The story told in today’s Gospel (Matthew 2: 1-12) is about people being called to follow their star in order to find the fullness of life only Jesus can give. “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10).

But what star are we choosing to follow?

The Wise Men saw the star and steadily followed it to the King of Kings, and they "fell on their knees and heard the angels sing".

As we get closer and closer to Christmas Day, may we fall on our knees this week, in awe, in praise and in hope as we rejoice that Jesus Christ was born.
