Hi BB’s! Amanda here. I’m so excited to share today’s Advent Episode 4, From Gift to Gift.

I kept thinking about the saying ‘From Glory to Glory’ and how God giving the ultimate gift of Jesus, His son, to us — is like the gift that keeps on giving.

It truly is from one gift to the next.

Growing up in church, I heard the Christmas story quite often… but if I’m honest there were years where I just pictured cute Baby Jesus in a manger with all the sweet little animals around him in the barn, and then just like that... I was ready to receive my own gifts under the tree.

This year I want to meditate on the story of what God truly gave us in the GIFT of Jesus.

He gave us Jesus, THE gift - which has trickled down into my own life - a gift in itself.

My marriage, a gift.

My children, a gift.

My health, a gift.

This podcast, a gift.

The phone I’m typing this on, a gift.

It began “away in a manger” and the life of “the little Lord Jesus” is still being gifted to us today.
