In Matthew 2:1-12 we will see how different people received the news of God's coming to earth as an indication of how they waited when God was silent. They serve as an example that when we wait in the strength of our own power, God's coming is receive with hostility. And when we wait in the pride of our knowledge, we receive it with indifference and apathy. But when we wait in the hope of God's promises, we receive the news of God's coming with worship.
