During the four weeks before Christmas, we enter into the rich and compelling story of the faithful people of God as they yearned for a Messiah two millennia ago. In doing so, we encounter our own waiting and hope for the second coming of Jesus.In the weeks before Christmas, shopping, parties, and other activities can crowd out the main point of the season. This series of sermons on Advent will invite us to stop, reflect, and remember just how much we need the Lord, and to be reassured that our Savior, Jesus Christ, came - and will come again.
