The word Advent comes from a Latin word meaning arrival. Followers of Jesus have been celebrating Advent since the 5th century, celebrating the arrival of the King and anticipating His future return. In this turbulent year, we cling to the hope, peace, joy, and love found in Christ’s arrival as we explore the beautiful carols that help us celebrate.
