On today's Advent series episode, Pastor Luke and Kaitie have a conversation on what hope means in the Advent season.
The Scripture passage used during the episode was Hebrews 6:19-20 NIV.
The Poem read was written by Tanner Olson. Here is the text of the poem:
Hope, like love and peace and joy, is something artists and writers will always try to put into new language or expression. I’ve tried again and again to put hope into a definition, but seem to come up short. How beautiful it is that we cannot put hope into a single definition. For all the poems, lines, and metaphors for hope I have come with, nothing seems to fully capture what hope is. Except for Jesus. Hope incarnate. Hope for us.Hope with us. And Hope changes everything.
Today and always may we hold Hope close, knowing Hope himself is holding us close.
