In this episode Chris and Myron welcome Keith Matejka to the show. Keith is probably best known as the designer of Roll Player, a fantastic dice drafting game where you build an RPG character sheet as you go. He’s also the founder of Thunderworks Games where he publishes his own work, and titles from other designers as well. With Roll Player Adventures, Keith takes us deeper into the world of Ulos with an expansive cooperative storytelling game. Keith has so many insights to share on his evolution from working in the video game industry, to working full-time as a board game publisher, that we had to break his episode into two parts. In this first part, Chris and Myron talk to Keith about his journey from video games to board game publishing, and the tremendous success of Roll Player.
